Fortnite Battle Royale developer Epic Games has just announced the release of a new update, version 10.10. These patch notes of this update contain brand new items, weapons, changes and bug fixes.
Here are some of the most important changes made to the beloved game.
Players can attack their adversaries by dropping massive objects, such as cars, anchors and many other things, on them with the power of the Rift. Apart from the fact that causes injuries to adversaries and demolishes the place it drops on, it also creates a shockwave that gives damage. A direct hit causes 200 damage, while the shockwave causes 100 damage.
Junk Rift is an Epic Rarity and it is available from Floor Loot, Chests, Supply Drops and Llamas. The maximum stack size is 4 and they can be dropped in stacks of 2.
After the explosion of a Rift Beacon there have been created forgeable items that continue to develop into other forgeable items in a random manner. They can be found at the explosion sites.
Here are the consumables that can appear and their features:
- Apples – gives 5 Health
- Mushrooms – gives 5 Shield
- Coconuts – 5 effective Health (Health + Shield)
- Peppers – boosts player’s speed for a short period of time
- Hop Rocks – diminishes player’s gravity for a short period of time
- Shadow Stone – transforms players into ghosts, boosts player’s speed and allows them to go through solid things
There are some changes made to the map. Due to the explosion of the Rift Beacon at the Rec Center that created the Glitched Consumables, there is now a giant crater instead of it.
