UC Browser, the world’s best third party mobile browser and content platform joined e-commerce giant Amazon.in to launch the UC X Amazon.in Gift Fest for users from August 07 to August 16.
The goal of this partnership is to share coupons from Amazon.in on the UC browser, which ranks up 130 million active users in India. UC launched this program along with the promotion of the movie Mission Mangal, a joint production of Fox Star Studios, Hope Productions and Cape of Good Films.
How they do it
UC Browser uses a new creative plan to distribute prizes and popularize Mission Mangal in India. Users have to discover the differences between two very similar versions of the poster for the movie, just like in a regular game of “Spot the Difference”.
Users Who participate in this simple and fun game have a chance to win cashback coupons from Amazon.in for prepaid recharges, paying utility bills and booking future movie tickets for Mission Mangal. UC will be distributing coupons between August 7 and August 11.
Further promoting the movie
UC Browser also features multiple in-app activities to promote Mission Mangal, including some vote cards and comment cards for users of the app. These are a collection of short videos, including bloopers and trailers of the film for UC’s great user base.
